Giveaways and Free Books on Goodreads

If you like to read or you’re an author and you haven’t signed up for a Goodreads account, you should. It is a fantastic interactive community that is designed to bring readers and writers together through Q&As, reviews, giveaways, and more.

Giveaways? Yes! Giveaways, which means FREE BOOKS!

There are literally hundreds of contests in which authors and publishers are giving away books through randomized online contests. All it takes is a click of the button and you’re entered into the drawing(s) of your choice, all of which are managed by Goodreads and shipped by the author. It’s a great way for readers to get great new books (if they win) and for authors to generate more fans/readers.

Readers! You can find the first of MANY PAGES of Goodreads contests here – including some of my favorites Eternal: More Love Stories with a Bite given by Nancy Holder, Empress of Eternity by L.E. Modesitt Jr, Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, and Deeper than Dead by Tami Hoag.

Authors! You can go to this URL to giveaway one of your books on Goodreads. You should also sign up for a Goodreads author account since there are many, many marketing benefits that you’re going to love.

Any way you slice it, free fiction is a good thing. Now, go forth and enter.

It should be noted that I have no affiliation with Goodreads. It’s just an amazing site that anyone interested in reading or writing should have it on their “bookmarks” list.

Huh, how many years have I been on Goodreads and I didn’t know about the giveaways.

I just entered so many my hand cramped from using the mouse.
