Doctor Who for the Holidays

Get your TARDIS ready because The Doctor is heading to town for the holidays and he’s scheduled to land on December 24th. And, no, he won’t be coming down the chimney when he visits since there have been too many close calls with that guy in the big red suit.

Here’s a shiny new trailer for The Doctor, The Widow, and The Wardrobe.

BBC America Blurb:

Evacuated to a house in Dorset from war-torn London, Madge Arwell and her two children, Lily and Cyril, are greeted by a madcap caretaker whose mysterious Christmas gift leads them into a magical wintry world. Starring: Matt Smith and Claire Skinner. Executive Producers: Steven Moffat, Piers Wenger and Caroline Skinner.

Also, don’t miss your chance to appear in BBC America’s Doctor Who Special, “Best of the Christmas Specials.” All you have to do is video tape your answers to a few Whoish questions in this video below and post them as a response video on YouTube.

Just for kicks, here is my Whovian video response for BBC America’s Doctor Who Special, “Best of the Christmas Specials.” If you post a video response, send me a link because I’d love to see it.

    Dashing through the show,
In the Tardis with the Doc,
When down th’ chimney we go,
    Kids will freak with shock!

    For dinner I will serve
    Fish digits and some goo,
He’ll eat them all with verve,
    And some figgy pudding, too.

I’ll shed a tear or two,
    When he vanishes from sight,
    Crying, “Merry Christmas to all,
And to all, a good night!”

(With apologies. Deadline mania–one thing a sonic screwdriver can’t fix.)

Curses, did not make last stanza rhyme.

“I’ll shed a tear or two,
    When he vanishes from sight,
    Crying, “Merry Christmas to you,
And to all a good night!”

  4. Nancy Holder says:

The only reason you love it is because you love me.
