Filming of Doctor Who series 7 has begun. So, it seemed like a good time to review the past season and to find out which episode was the best of Series 6. Filming has just started on Series 7 of Doctor Who in Cardiff. This series will see the last days of the Ponds with Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill returning for their final, rollercoaster voyage with the Doctor. Amy and Rory have been at the Doctor’s side for more than two series but what will he do after their heartbreaking departure?
I would love to see Captain Jack or Donna return for an episode or two. The one loose end that has been bugging me since the end of Series 3 is the image of the Master’s ring. Something about that scene makes me think that somehow, somewhere the Master will find a way back. What would you like to see or who would you like to have return in Series 7 of the best show on TV, Doctor Who?

The Doctor’s Wife for suresies. Neil Gaiman and the Doctor? Fangirl squees were heard in my house that night…and every time we’ve watched that episode since then.
I loved the Doctor, the Widow, and the Wardrobe – the sappy ending made me feel all warm and sentimental, and I generally roll my eyes at sappy endings. The only way it could have been better was if they’d stuck Rory in there somehow.
(Side note: Christmas music totally started playing on my iTunes shuffle right after I chose. Strangeness!)
My favorite is BY FAR “The Wedding of River Song”. It has everything: romance, action, suspense, the culmination of seasons and seasons of questions only to end up with the biggest question of all! DOCTOR WHO?!
I loved the Impossible Astronaut. Greys ruling the earth for the last 2000 years, but no one knows it. Brilliant.
I till love The Parting Of The Ways. Rose is my girl and almost had me in tears
I nearly voted for “The Doctor’s Wife,” as it WAS an amazing episode, but the ending of “The Impossible Astronaut” was just so intense and dramatic, I had to give it my vote. 🙂
Very tough decision, but I ultimately settled on “A Good Man Goes to War.” Guess I’m a sucker for cooperation.
