Futuredaze Now has a Stretch Goal–Help Support Science Fiction for Young Adults

As you know, we have reached our Kickstarter goal of $1,700 for Futuredaze: An Anthology of YA Science Fiction, and we still have a week to go with our Kickstarter project. $1,700 is the bare minimum to cover a couple big ticket items for the anthology. So, with a week left to go and new backers who continue to preorder copies of Futuredaze, we thought we should make the most of the additional time and the momentum that we have going for us. Therefore, we’re announcing a new stretch goal that we’d like to reach by June 25th, which is when our Kickstarter ends.

Our stretch goal for Futuredaze is $2,500, and we only need an additional $550 to get there over the next seven days. The great thing about having a stretch goal is that it gives us something to work toward during the final days of our Kickstarter project and it doesn’t endanger our original goal. It’s really a win-win for Futuredaze. With the additional money raised, we’re hoping to be able to accomplish two key objectives:

1. We would like to increase the number of pieces within Futuredaze. We’ve received a lot of stories and poems that are easily good enough to include in this anthology, and we’d like to increase the number of pieces that we planned to publish. Reaching our stretch goal will make this possible.

2. We would also like to create a book video to help with marketing and promotion within the teen/YA reading community. They love book trailers (i.e. book videos) to watch, share, and post within their social media circles. It’ll be a great tool to help spread the word.

If you know of anyone else who might like to help support science fiction for young adults or who would like to pre-order a copy of Futuredaze, we would be grateful if you were to share our Kickstarter link them.http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/554408822/futuredaze-an-anthology-of-ya-science-fiction

Thank you again for your support!
